Ohio-based lawyer Tom Renz broke down Christian nationalism on his Brighteon.TV program “Lawfare with Tom Renz.”
Renz recounted his discussion on the topic during his appearance on Clay Clark’s ReAwaken America Tour. He reiterated that Christianity is about treating people with love and respect, regardless of whether they are Christians or not.
“We are supposed to love and we lead by example, not through abuse or punishment or anything of the sort,” he said. “We teach with respect.”
According to Christianity.com, Christian nationalism is “a desire to have a God-centered nation run by godly people.” Renz pointed out that “Christian nationalism” contains the term nationalism – which equates to supporting America, a nation that ended slavery, created suffrage, promoted equality, promoted economic prosperity across the world, stood for freedom and stood against communism.
Renz said being a lawyer does not prevent him from being a Christian and his faith is central to him as a person before God, family and country. He added that his loyalty is to God first before anything else.
The Brighteon.TV program host said people have the right to believe as they want, adding that people can teach and talk about Christianity and faith without forcing it on others.
He reiterated that America is a nation that will not tolerate religious discrimination or any other type of discrimination because it is a country that recognizes that nothing good comes from discrimination. Renz ultimately pointed out that Christian nationalism, which is all about freedom and autonomy, serves as the remedy to tyranny and oppression. He added that Christian nationalism also calls for people to stand up and fight for freedom.
The “Lawfare with Tom Renz” host expressed pride in being a proud Christian nationalist who believes and stands for America and God.
The Ohio attorney also pointed out that the mainstream media (MSM) sneers at the thought of Christian nationalism. He pointed to the MSM’s “psychological warfare” against Christian nationalists, painting them as “bad guys.”
In particular, Renz cited Clark and Gen. Michael Flynn as the MSM’s main targets due to their Christian nationalism. The Brighteon.TV host lauded the two for their courage to stand up for what they believe in.
He also questioned the motives of people opposing Christian nationalism and promoting discrimination against Christians. According to Renz, a person who wants to eliminate freedom would always begin by removing faith – which is at the core of every dictatorship that wants to do away with God or become God. The first thing tyrants do upon coming to power, he added, is to supplant religion.
Renz warned that people who want to destroy America will start by destroying Christianity and nationalism in the country.
“We have people who are trying to do what every tyrant and every dictator in history has tried to do. They are trying to take more for themselves and take away from everybody else, at everybody else’s expense, and they do it through lies, cheating, manipulation and all sorts of evil.”
