The American people are waging a spiritual war. Retired Gen. Michael Flynn made this remark during an appearance on the Oct. 12 episode of “Thrive Time Show” on Brighteon.TV, hosted by Amanda Grace and Clay Clark.
Flynn mentioned the latter’s ReAwaken America Tour as having a pivotal role in this war. According to the retired officer, the tour isn’t just an event but a movement of people waking up America and realizing the need to think about humanity, faith, family, friends, communities and other things they are involved in presently.
Flynn, the chairman of America’s Future, recounted the tour’s origins as the Health and Freedom event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This eventually turned into the ReAwaken America movement when everyone realized that God is moving through it and uniting everyone into a family. This family isn’t just patrons who attend the tour stops, but also includes the millions of Americans and people around the world who represent different nations.
The general said he met and talked with a lot of people during those tours, including a veteran who became a pastor. Both men discussed the Book of Revelation, with the veteran-turned-pastor summing up the Book of Revelation in three short phrases: “It’s hard, it’s going to get harder, but God wins.” Flynn agreed with the take, urging Americans to believe in God as He is going to win in the end.
“We have a role, we have a responsibility, we have a reason for being where we are alive in this moment of history – not only for America, but for the planet.”
The erstwhile official from the administration of former President Donald Trump also gave advice to Americans on how to win this different type of war.
He told Clark and Grace: “I think what we have to do is we have to continue to pray. Not just pray, but stand up, step up, speak out, raise our voices, expand our voices and let people know how we feel. We have to continue to use our God given skills, talents and resources to be able to commit to this fight against evil.”
“It is clearly a good versus evil battle that we are waging. It’s a spiritual war.”
Flynn also expressed his belief in the power of silent meditation at times, and remarked that many people are a product of the power of prayer. Aside from prayer and silent meditation, people can also be moved by listening to the powerful testimony of a person. According to the retired military officer, the Spirit of God moves across a country that has a strong desire to return to their faith-based values as a nation. He also lauded the many veterans around the country which include a lot of first responders, particularly the police who are now retired but are returning to serve America once more.
Flynn added that seeing people that really, truly and deeply understand the concept of service to nation is something he loves. “These people are starting to see that they still have responsibilities, such as constitutional responsibilities, to do for the country,” he said.
