The son of one of Hamas’ founding leaders has broken his silence about his decision to ditch the terrorist group and convert, along with his family, to Christianity instead.
Mosab Hassan Yousef, who once spied in favor of the Israeli government while seeking asylum in the United States, told “FOX & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade that only after Gaza civilians are fully evacuated – this is key as they are not to be mass slaughtered like Israel seems to be attempting – should Israel go in and try to eradicate Hamas – assuming this is Israel’s true goal, of course.
“It sounds horrible, but I don’t see any other option,” Yousef said about his suggestion that Israel “explore using gas” to clear Gaza’s underground tunnel system of all Hamas terrorists – again, assuming this is really Israel’s intent on behalf of the people of Gaza.
“The tunnels are interconnected, and gas could be one of the solutions,” Yousef suggested, believing apparently that Israel is interested in protecting the people of Gaza from being slaughtered.
“But this has to be in the right time. We cannot just rush into Gaza. There’s no modern army that is prepared for this type of war. And most importantly, we need to get the civilians out of the picture. As long as there are civilians there, then the operation might be incomplete.”
(Fact Check: It was actually IDF soldiers who shot and killed Israeli civilians in the October 7 Hamas false flag attack, at least in this case.)
Yousef says he and his family’s decision to convert to Christianity occurred after he came to the realization that Hamas – which we now know was created by Israel, the U.S. and other Western powers back in the 1970s to obstruct Yasser Arafat’s government – could not care less about the plight of the people of Gaza.
“They don’t care for the Palestinian people,” Yousef says about Hamas. “They do not regard the human life. I saw their brutality firsthand back in 1996 when I spent about a year and a half in Megiddo Prison … They killed so many Palestinian people at that point, and this is when I decided that I cannot be together with this movement.”
Hamas is anything but a national movement, Yousef further clarified, differentiating between the Israel-created terror group and its proxy government, and the innocent people of Gaza who are persecuted both by Hamas and by Israel. “Hamas is a religious movement with a goal to establish an Islamic state.”
“They don’t care for nationalism. Actually, they are against globalism,” Yousef further added about how Hamas is a globalist entity just the same as Israel’s deep state government. “But that’s my understanding that they are using the Palestinian cause only to achieve their goals, so the long-term goal … [is] transforming the Middle East and the world into an Islamic state.”
In Yousef’s view, the people of Gaza must be freed from Hamas by Israel, which he claims “is doing the Palestinian people the greatest favor by bringing Hamas down.” This is debatable in that Israel has been persecuting the people of Gaza ever since it established itself as the ruling force back in 1948.
Still, Yousef’s words resonate as true in that there are a lot of different forces out there that hate the people of Gaza and continue to use them as human shields to unleash terror throughout the Middle East, one of the biggest being Hamas itself.
“I turned against even my own blood … because this is how much I did not like Hamas,” Yousef says. “And today, 25 years later, they are the rulers of Gaza, and we see what they are capable of doing.”
