The 54th sermon of the Health Ranger Mike Adams for the Church of Natural Abundance centered on the two areas of spiritual blindness many people fail to see.
“No. 1, they fail to see God and God’s miracles all around them. It’s astonishing that anybody could not see God working within them and around them every single day,” he began.
“Also, there are some people who do see God’s miracles, but they fail to see Satan’s deceit. They fail to see wickedness … and evil. They excuse people who engage in wickedness and evil, and they fail to hold anybody responsible. That is also a failing.”
In relation to the first point, someone who never sees God, His miracles and the hand of His Son Jesus Christ in anything is going to be extremely pessimistic. This is because they only see evil everywhere they look in the world.
Such a pessimistic view is easy to embrace because elements of evil infiltrate every institution of society, according to the Bible nutrition educator. While it is undeniable that people are living in a world dominated by evil and satanic influences, people who live their life seeing only the evil in the world will see the same in others and have no trust and optimism.
“It’s pretty easy to see the evil, but when you miss the presence of God, then you think there’s no hope. Then, you might have no faith,” Adams continued.
On the flip side, people seeing only goodness in everybody isn’t a good thing. According to Adams, such people will eventually be taken advantage of by other people. These kinds of people, including some people of faith, have become gullible and trust everything – failing to see the evil in the world in the process.
To illustrate, Adams said people who always want to let criminals out of prison are holding a very dangerous philosophy. Such a view is not sustainable in society that even Christ wouldn’t have approved it, given that the Messiah Himself called out corruption in the church and government.
“So, if you can’t see evil in the world, you will be gullible. You will be taken advantage of, and you will wonder why you have been the victim of so many things,” said Adams, the founder of Brighteon.com and publisher of Natural News.
“On the other hand, if you can’t see good in the world or God in the world – then you will live and die alone, wondering why humanity has been abandoned, wondering why everything turns so evil. You will tend to seek out self-destruction rather than salvation.”
The Bible nutrition educator ultimately pointed out that without spiritual discernment, people will only see one view, but not the other. This will lead them into a very distorted or perverted view of the world, other people and themselves.” (Related: Sermon 17: Mike Adams discusses the spiritual cause and effect behind the Armor of God.)
“The proper approach, in my view, is to be able to see both. To open both eyes, lift the veil, clear the clouds and break the sorcerer’s spell.”
